READBACK / HEARBACK is one of the cornerstones of safe Radiotelephony. Unfortunately, we're not always very good at it. Confusing numbers and omitting information are two of the most common problems. This video lists some of the causes of poor readback / hearback. We can’t control all of them, but we can make allowances for language background. Non-native English speakers often need more time to 'process' information. It's therefore important to adapt our rate of speech and message length accordingly.
